Former Australian opener Justin Langer has been confirmed as the next coach of the Australian cricket team.

Langer, who played 105 tests, replaces Darren Lehmann following resigned after the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.

The 47-year-old Langer has previously coached Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League. He has also held an interim role as coach of the Australian team.
